A vékonyabb papírokat feltétlenül ki kell feszítenünk mielőtt a festéshez látnánk. Amennyiben festés előtt kifeszítjük a papírt, a nedvesség hatására sem fog deformálódni, hullámosodni.

Az akvarellpapír kifeszítése

2. Enyves ragasztószalag Enyves ragasztószalaggal mind a négy oldalánál rögzítsük a papírt. Minél nagyobb a kép, annál vastagabb ragasztószalagot használjunk!
3. Ragasztás A ragasztást a papír hosszabbik oldalánál kezdjük és középről kifelé haladva simítsuk ki, így biztosan rátapad a papírra és a rajztáblára.
4. Ragasztás és simítás Ugyanezt az eljárást folytassuk a a papír rövidebb oldalánál is. Ne aggódjunk, ha a papír kissé hullámos, mire megszárad ki is fog simulni.
